Keshet International and Pomodoro Stories announce deal for remake rights for internationally acclaimed drama series Prisoners of War and political comedy Polishuk

Heading to the LA Screenings for the very first time, Keshet International announced today that Pomodoro Stories will handle remake rights for its drama series Prisoners of War in Colombia and Mexico, as well as remake rights for its comedy series Polishuk in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico.

Prisoners of War is the acclaimed Israeli drama series on which Showtime's Emmy-winning drama Homeland is based. It has been sold into multiple territories as a format.

As Keshet kicks off a Latin American initiative on both the remake and readymade fronts, Kelly Wright, Senior Sales Manager for Keshet International said, "Prisoners Of War has debuted in many countries around the world, and we are excited to bring the successful original version to Latin America for the first time. Brendan is an excellent executive, and we look forward to introducing this acclaimed series together in Colombia and Mexico."
